Here's how the Resilience School Intensive came to be...


Early in my med school training I realized I didn't resonate with the traditional approaches to behavioral health.

I saw that kids were often treated as if their emotions were only based on brain chemistry and families were excluded from treatment plans.

I knew a whole-person approach was needed that empowered families to build healthy patterns. Over the next several years I studied mind-body medicine and holistic strategies such as breathwork, yoga, mindfulness, guided imagery, and more.

As I learned these tools, they not only helped my patients, but they helped ME.
